These beautiful north Georgia mountains abound with activities to suit everyone. So, jump in the car, and head for the mountains! Check out the new northeast Georgia regional website, visitnortheastgeorgia.com for more information and links to north Georgia events, activities, services, and websites.

For the sports enthusiasts, there is mountain biking, horseback riding, golf, fishing (visit georgia-outdoors.com), and white water rafting. Visit wildwaterrafting.com and  nocweb.com for kayaking and white water excursions. For the latest information on fishing in the area, check out Georgia Lake and River Fishing Reports.

Many other galleries and shops are along Scenic Highway 197 ... a beautiful drive through the mountains. Just a few miles away, is Alpine Helen, a unique shopping village with unique shops and restaurants, too. InNorthGeorgia.com lists many attractions, activities, and things to do in north Georgia.

For waterfall weddings, email Tom McCool at Image Control. Tom and Cindy built our web site and Tom is the photographer that photograph many weddings here at Magnolia Terrace and shoots waterfall weddings all over north Georgia.

Our area is home to some spectacular waterfalls: Becky Branch Falls, Dick's Creek Falls, Martin Creek Falls, Mud Creek Falls, Minnehaha Falls (one of the most beautiful, must-see waterfalls in the north Georgia area, located just south of Lake Burton in Rabun county. This waterfall, a combination of falling and shoaling cascades, is approximately 100 feet high. The trail is a must-see as well, gently sloping through rhododendron and mountain laurel). Angel/Panther Falls, and High Shoals Falls (there are two tremendous waterfalls on the High Shoals Creek. These falls very dramatic, and a highly recommended hike. The falls are on a 170 acre scenic site and are reached by taking a 1.2 mile trail).
